I am a teacher at Dunwoody Springs Elementary school and LOVE it!!! I love the kids, I love my administration and I love teaching. I have been at DSES for 7 years now and have seen many changes but I believe that is true of any school in the past 7 years. I have a friend who teaches in Alpharetta and has had lots of problems with the administration...Before you put our school down, please come see us in action! I would put our teachers and students up against the best private schools! We go above and beyond the typical day... We are constantly taking classes and workshops to better teach our students and using the latest technology to enrich our classrooms. Just my thoughts but I LOVE MY SCHOOL!

What a great post! It is amazing.. The only people who see that caucasians are in the minority are the parents. Kids just see kids!!

This thread is a year old at least now and much of the info provided is 2 to 3 years old. So I would be interested in hearing from anyone with current experience with Dunwoody Springs. As a home owner in the Panhandle zoned for DSE and a parent of 3 kids who are coming to school age, I'm curious about the school. Almost everyone we've met does private, and there is a growing Dunwoody/Sandy Springs homeschool community as well; but we have not met DSE families in our neighborhood. Are things turning around, as the past posts predicted?
