Cool Moving to Atlanta in July

Hallo, all.

I'll be relocating to Atlanta in July, and I'm wondering where a good place to live might be. My range is 600-750, and I'm thinking of Midtown and a studio. How is the crime rate there? Any places I should avoid outright? I've been considering 1660 Peachtree and Ansley Forest.

Any advice will be greatly appreciated.

Cheers,
G

The standard advice is to locate on a map your place of employment and then draw a 5 mile radius around it.

However, if you're going to be working in Midtown then I'd say that Midtown/Ansley Park is a good place to live.

We went out ten, but yeah that's a good general practice.

Some directions might be a lot better than others, anyway, from both a commuting standpoint and a community standpoint.

Midtown is a good central location and if you have to find a new job it will be beneficial commute wise. I live in Midtown and did not land a job in Midtown but found most all the jobs I was considering were within a reasonable commute whereas if I lived in the burbs some would not have been reasonable.
