I guess your experiences on different streets depend on what you're goals are for being on those streets...

Sounds to me like you just had low expectations of Lee St. I went to college over there in the mid 90s - when it was much less inviting to white people - and me and my white friends had no problems.

I think it comes down to this: If you don't cause problems, then 95% of the time you won't HAVE problems.
