well they are all from up north... In Philly they are called Hoagies...so much better than what you get here. the south just doesn't know how to make a good sandwich, unless its a chik fil a or BBQ sandwich

Lord no. Carraba's is definately more authentic italian. better ingredients, just better period. No comparison

Meh, maybe it was the location. The one I went to was in Cincinnati, and the food and service was pretty bad. Probably should try another location.

i would definately like to see a filipino restaurant. I remember the food when I was in Manila years ago.. definately a fusion of many different cultures.

Regardless, it is GA based.
Larry's & Firehouse Subs are very good as well, and based in Jacksonville, FL.

Doesn't matter if its based in Georgia..
It's still a Jersey style sub place started by a guy from Jersey, not GA .
Popeyes is based in Atlanta, but was started by a guy from new Orleans.. the food is Cajun/Creal New orleans style, not Georgia.
Southerners in general don't know how to make good sandwiches.. its really something of an art up north. If you want a great sandwich in the south then you have to find a place specialising in northern style sandwiches.
Now Chik-Fil-A is another story... but thats a different kind of sandwich.
