Barbecue Kitchen serves Lexington-style...which is my favorite. It's on Virginia Ave in College Park where all of the hotels and restaurants are - north of the airport. It's pretty good, but still not Little Richard's.

I will have to give it a shot, but the reviews are not the best and two major mistakes.
1- They supposedly put mustard and ketchup on the Cheesesteak
2- They call it a "Sub"

Carrabba's is okay, but I'd recommend Scalini's in Smyrna over Carrabba's at any location.

woodys famous philadelphia cheesesteaks atlanta - Google Maps

I'm pretty sure they - the two brothers from Philly that own and run the restaurant - don't call them "subs". Citysearch, yahoo, yelp, and the rest of those listing sites may label them as subs, but those aren't official sites and are unrelated to the actual Woody's. I'm not sure if you can read the sign or not, but it doesn't say "subs" anywhere:

Woody's on Flickr - Photo Sharing!

I've never heard anything bad about Woody's...every comment I've ever heard has been positive. One of the brothers isn't all that friendly, but the other one is and he usually takes the orders. All you have to do is ask for no ketchup/mustard...someone from Philladelphia was telling me that, if a resaurant in Philly decided to put ketchup, mustard, or whatever on cheesesteaks they might be called innovative or creative or whatever...but a restaurant in Atlanta doing the same thing will be criticized for it. It's really just a condiment...it's not extra ingredients or anything.

A restaurant in Philly putting ketchup and mustard on a cheesesteak would not be called innovative.. they would be called "out of business"

Now someone from Philly may open a cheesesteak place in Atlanta, but they may tailor it to "southern tastes" by putting condiments on it that it is not supposed to have... then it no longer becomes a Philly cheesesteak, it becomes an Atlanta cheesesteak.
I have yet to find a real Philly cheesesteak in Atlanta.... the #1 cheese for a cheesesteak in Philly is Cheez wiz... that's how they are done... only tourists order them with provolone... in Atlanta, provolone seems to be the default cheese for a philly cheesesteak. If that's what you want, then fine, but its not an authentic philly cheesesteak.

I wish we have these in ATL-

Din Tai Fung Dumpling House :: North America Branch / Ž泰豐 :: Œ—Žˆ†—

Yoshinoya USA | North American Franchise Opportunity

I've actually been to the original Din Tai Fung in Taipei and a satellite in Los Angeles and they make the best dumplings in the world.

Oh good God...big deal. People love to whine about authenticity, when the fact is that THIS is Atlanta, not Philadelphia. If you want a cheesesteak made exactly like your momma made them, then you have to go to your momma's house...and itf you want onemade exactly like some hometown restaurant made them, then you have to go to that hometown restaurant. You're not gonna find it here or anywhere else for that matter, so stop whining about it.

Are you kidding with the CheeseWhiz? Yuck.
