I'm sure there are all kinds of allergies...

BUT how about RAGWEED POLLEN in particular...it is generally in the AUTUMN (NOT spring). So ragweed sufferers get it in August, September in particular.

Any ragweed pollen sufferers get it bad in Atlanta that time of year (AUTUMN)?

(I keep stressing Autumn, because so many associate allergies with springtime and hay fever, which doesn't effect me whatsoever).

No, just no answers yet. Sorry to say, my son suffers spring and fall. He seems to be more affected in the fall though. He takes Singulair year-round, but when the allergies are really kicking he needs his inhaler frequently.

Here's an article that touches on ragweed incidence in Atlanta: Why Atlanta becomes more allergic with each passing year > SundayPaper.com > The Sunday Paper :: All you need to know. (http://www.sundaypaper.com/More/Archives/tabid/98/articleType/ArticleView/articleId/2882/Default.aspx - broken link)

I have a couple of acquaintances who are badly afflicted with ragweed allergy in the fall, here in the Atlanta area. So all in all, I'd say Atlanta is far from being a sure bet for a ragweed allergy sufferer.

I have a horrible ragweed allergy. I can't tell if I am just sick now or if it is the ragweed. If it is just the allergy it is pretty bad. I haven't wheezed like this in a long time.

I have a mild allergy to ragweed, and I've not noticed anything down here in five years. There's a ton of PINE pollen and such in the spring, but I don't know if that many people are allergic to it...?

Pine pollen is not an allergen (just an aesthetic nuisance). The individual particles of pollen are too big. It's the stuff you can't see that hurts you!
