Ultra Modern Architecture
Where can I find modern single-family homes ITP ?
I've seen homes built over the past few years in Reynoldstown (Weatherby St. ), Collier Heights ( Larchmont Ct.) and Ansley Park (Westminster Dr, The Prado, Beverly Rd.)

There are some in Morningside and a couple in Virginia-Highlands. Check out the concrete box next to Orme Park in Virginia-Highlands. It must be cool on the inside, but doesn't fit in well with the neighborhood at all. To each their own though.

There are two in Edgewood right near the retail district -- one is still under construction, the other has been lived in for a while and is now for sale:
PARIS & ASSOCIATES REALTY
There's also an outrageously expensive modern fantasy home on 3 acres in Lake Claire that's for sale:
PARIS & ASSOCIATES REALTY
There's an interesting modern house in Inman Park, on Edgewood near Waverly, and then another in Old Fourth Ward that's all cinderblocks and glass, it's on whatever Lake turns into. Also there's a big modern house at the intersection of freedom parkway and boulevard.

My absolute favorite modern house in the city is on Westminister Drive facing Winn Park...I'm betting that we're thinking of the same house.
Two others of note:
The Henri Jova house in Midtown
The John Portman house on Northside Drive near the Buckhead/Sandy Springs line.

I know of a particularly edgy-looking concrete dwelling, a la Frank Lloyd Wright, under construction on Trabert Ave near Northside Dr. It's likely still up for sale.

It would be nice if there was an area in the city that was dedicated to modern buildings commercial and residential...a different part of the city looks the Inner Westside of Atlanta (West Midtown/English Avenue/Knight Park) has the potential to make it happen. It has a mostly industrial feel and alot of dilapidated homes that are ripe for tear down specifically in English Avenue. Just a suggestion .
