Red face Suwanee it is...Help!!!!!

Good Morning. Ok after much research and praying i am deciding to move to Suwanee.I am going to send my will be third grader to Suwanee Elementary School, and I need help with different areas to Rent a townhouse in that area. My max rent amount is 1200. Although I may consider buying but nothing is set in stone yet. I wont be moving to this area until June Or July of 2010. I am looking for a area that is still close to pharmacies, grocery stores and no that far from parks or places i can take my two little girls. Also i am a single parent so it would be nice to know of areas that have a lot of things to do for singles without having to go all the way to Buckhead. Thanks everyone...

Suwanee is a good place for families. Imo, a single parent would find opportunities for socializing through involvement in activities which help children develop skills and interests.

As far as parks go, from what I have seen you can't be far from a park in the city of Suwanee if you try. They are just everywhere, and as the city continues with its development plan, more green space will be added. There are TONS of things to do in the summer at the Town Center as well.

Do you know how long the commute time is from Suwanee to Perimeter mall? I am moving to Atlanta too and Suwanee looks very nice but not sure about the commute time.

Hi

I currently live at Townsend Creek, right past North Gwinnett High School. You can literally walk to the school in just 15 minutes. I love it. Not sure what else to tell you, except crime is not a worry, and the city just has a breezy townish yet city vibe about it.

Suwanee is 23m from Perimter. Mall of Georgia is beautiful and it's just 5m away though.
