Hi! I am a new member... so a lil lost. Anyways, I am moving to Atlanta and would really appreciate some help. I am looking for a locality which has good public elementary schools with large diversity, a primarily asian neighbourhood with Indian grocery stores nearby. Any ideas? suggestions?

City of Decatur. Tons of Indian stores and restaurants near there.

But OP is looking for elementary that has large Asian population. City of Decatur
school system, although it is good school system, has 1% of asian students population.

There are two large Asians areas. One is in South Gwinnett area (Parkview school districts). A lot of India and south asians business families live there.

Another is John's Creek, Duluth, Alpharatta and Suwanee area. Alpharatta tends to have more South Asians professional type (Milton High school area). John's Creek (Chattohoochee, Northview), Duluth (Duluth high), Suwanee (Peachtree Ridge and North Gwinnett) tend to have more East Asians.

Largest Asians elementary schools are Wilson Creek (37%) and Shakerag (41%) elementary schools. Both are in Northview high school district. zip code Duluth, 30097 in city of John's Creek.
