Default Acworth GA?
Anyone have some information on Acworth? It looks like it has a small town atmosphere (which we want), nice athletic associations for our kid, schools look decent and housing looks reasonable. Would like opinions

"Acworth" covers a large area over several counties. The actual incorporated town of Acworth will have that small-town feel that you mentioned, but there's also a huge expanse of area that has an "Acworth" zip code that varies from run-down little shacks in some of the areas around Lake Allatoona to huge subdivisions of McMansions to large rural areas further from the downtown area. The schools vary in quality, as do the neighbors.

I have a friend who used to live in Actworth, Its a nice area. BobKovacs stated it best. The one thing I noticed about it was the variety of neighborhoods in the area.
