I don't know how to take that... All I can say is that if we Y'ers are as "spoiled" as you say we are, then I submit to you that this behavior was learned from somewhere. I'd start with the generation who created white flight, 1980's greed is good, Reaganomics and the decimation of both the "Great Society" & holdover programs from the era of FDR, and I will even throw in Lee Atwater & the "Southern Strategy" tactics. What shining examples we Y'ers have to look up to...

I'm 30, I'm not sure what generation that makes me. However, my parents generation, the baby boomers are the worst generation in American history. The irony of this generation is that they are fathered by the greatest generation of Americans.
This generation justified, no savings, outsourced manufacturing, fiscal irresponsibility, overexuberance, failure in leadership, the demise of American stature abroad. They created a group of me first, financially bankrupted their kids, I could go on and on, but I digress.
This is not a shot at individuals of this generation, however the Baby Boomer generation signified the greed and wealth without work society.

I pray that you are right, Lovin. It'll be a shame for Atlanta's story to end, having withstood a literal burning to the ground, a turbulent '60's, and now possibly legislated away with the mere stroke of a pen. Can someone sense the potential irony in that?

If it does, then Atlanta will send the police in and capture Decatur for their own. Watch.... it'll happen. Just watch.

Exactly. Buckhead is Fulton County's bread and butter. The county would go bankrupt without Buckhead. Like you said, ain't gonna happen.
