Default Atlanta swimming pool question?

I'm soon to be moving to the East Atlanta area and I am looking for employment with a reputable swimming pool company. I have being sending out resumes but no call backs. Have the construction trades slowed down due to the economy in Atlanta? Any idea's?

Yes, the construction trades have slowed dramatically. You're also going to find a big difference between the pool industry here and in CA- they're more of a luxury item here, and aren't usually found in homes under $500k or more. Most newer subdivisions have community pools, so it's not as common to plunk one in your own back yard. I built pools in Las Vegas, where practically every home over around $250k had a pool, so I noticed the difference immediately.
