Perhaps you should look into the downtown Marietta area if you are interested in historic homes. There are dozens in that area and it has a very quaint "square" that harkens back to Mayberry days.

I'm looking into a condo on Spring Rd. in Smyrna though this area seems questionable. It is well kept, but very close to Cobb Pkwy. Is anyone familiar with appreciation values of homes in this area? There is a subdivision with homes up to the $500s about 20ft away...

Peachtree City is a wonderful town with a lot to offer. Great schools, great recreation, low crime, low traffic.
