Default Florida v Georgia (Florida Sux)

Ok I am from Georgia around Rome. I live in Florida, my husband is in the military. We have been in England for several years alsol My question is how bad has crime gotten in the burbs of atl? I really want to move back to georgia and work in atl. I am graduating with 2 BS degrees in august and my husband wil be getting out of the military- he did avionics and attempting to go to work for Lockheed and finish his degree. I think that Florida suxs. We have high priced homes and low wages, not to mention tons of registered sex offenders. Anyway we are thinking areas like Dallas, Acworth, Kennesaw, Alpharetta, etc. I told my husband that the crime is not bad in these places it is mostly concentrated in the downtown ghetto sections. Am I right? Also how is commute itp form the areas? Help, I miss Georgia.
