I just moved to Smyrna and am looking for a liquor store that has a large selection of different kinds of beer. I have heard of a few different pubs and such around that have large selections, but I'm looking for a place where I can buy and take home. The 5 or 6 different places I've been usually have pretty large wine and hard liquor selection but relatively small selection of beer.

I moved here from Michigan and I got really used to drinking stuff from a microbrewery called Bell's. I also like Founders, which is also Michigan based. Does anybody have any ideas of places that have a wide variety? Thanks.

The best place in Smryna I remember is called Beverage Warehouse (I think) at the corner of E-W Connector and S. Cobb Dr. (in the same strip mall as the Publix)...they have a pretty solid selection.

The best beer selection (including Bell's for sure) I've found in town is at Total Wine...and it's dirt cheap too. As a point of reference, you can get Sierra Nevada there for 12.99 for a 12 pack. They don't have a location in Smyrna, but there is one in Kennesaw and Perimeter...worth the drive to stock up for a few weeks!

It's call Smyrna World of Beverage unless it's changed it's name in the last 6 months.

You're right...my bad. I confused it with a name of a place that's near where I live now.

Your closest Total Wine:
Barrett Pavilion I
740 Ernest W. Barrett Pkwy. Ste 500
Kennesaw, GA 30144

They have something like 400+ different beers.
You can even make your own 6-pack (mix&match).

It is indeed a good place to pick up beer. Last time I was there they got robbed as I was browsing through the English beers. The guy took two bottles and took off with a cab that was waiting outside. Nuts. I know times are rough but come on now. The folks are friendly there and I recommend it.

Thanks guys! I visited the other day and was very impressed. I picked up sixers of Bell's Expedition stout, Lagunitas Brown Shugga Ale, and
Weihenstephaner Hefeweissbier.
