Question Moving to Atlanta from Dallas

Moving to ATL from Dallas due to a new job opportunity. Job location will be on windy mills road north of ATL. Have a family - wife and 2 kids. One of the kids is in middle school and will soon be going to high school. I am looking for best school district and schools (public schools) to settle. But the place should be extremely safe, close shops and restaurants, hospitals and medical care, friendly neighbourhood, 5-13 year old kids/teens, park and play areas.
Could anyone suggest best neighbourhoods, housing community (close to Walton High School)? Is Walton High the best option?

Please advice.

Thanks

I'm not sure as to what the specific neighborhoods are called, but the area around Walton High is very nice. You will be close to two shopping malls (the Avenue at East Cobb and the Cobb Town Center). I think the nearest hospitals are Northside and St. Joseph, which is a couple of miles in Sandy Springs.

there are plenty of great neighborhoods in East Cobb. It just depends on your price range, age of home that you are looking for. The new construction can be very expensive.
