It depends on how far from 285 you are. The closer, the better. I live a bit further up (Off Hwy 5), and the commute down 75 (and having to drive on the top end of 285) makes me hate driving, people and life.

Actually right by 75 and 285, on the east side of 75 on Windy Hill Rd.

There is a ramp that takes you directly to I-285 from Windy Hill, and the direction you'll be heading, traffic shouldn't be too bad before 4 pm.

Also, if you and your wife are looking for a church home, Destiny Metropolitan is right in that area off Windy Hill. Lots of young AA professionals there. It leans contemporary in style and it gets very crowded, but I've enjoyed the services I've been to there.

Glad I can help. There are a lot of Barber shops in that area, especially west of 75. I usually go to Platinum Cuts on Cobb Parkway over by the shopping center at the intersection of Spring.

There is also a chain of barbers called "Good Phellaz" that are all over the metro area as well, and I think they have a location right on Windy Hill.

On that one I will defer to the others as we pretty much focused our search on Lithia Springs, Douglasville and Powder Spring before we purchased in December of 2007. Besides we're still fairly new to the area and the state and don't get out often with having a 2 year old and all.
