Default Kennesaw, GA

Hey! I might be moving to Kenmnesaw, GA area and would like to get an idea as to where to live. I'm a single guy in the mid 20's. I currently want to look towards apartment living as I will be travelling a lot and want a place that has a garage so that I can store my car when I am not in the area. Also, how much do the average bills typically run? Water/Sewege, electric, gas, cable?

Thanks

That's not a mustang cobra is it, that you want to store.

Check out www . modularpowerhouse.com/forums if you're into Mustangs, they're very close to Kennesaw.

As far as apartments, for your age, I'd check right off of Barrett Parkway. Don't know the names and or bills though.

yup! I get nervous when the car is not within reach. if it's out of site of theives, the better I will feel when away. I'll check out modularpowerhouse's site. I've heard of them but don't think I registered. Too many Mustang forums to keep track of!

Hey, I just noticed that you said you will be travelling a lot. Is that typically air travel or driving? The reason I ask is that if you travel by air frequently, you are going to have a long drive to the airport all the time from Kennesaw.

I have noticed a lot of apartment complexes near Barrett Parkway as gt6974a mentioned. Kennesaw State University is just north of Barrett off of Chastain Road and that is probably part of the reason there are so many apartments. It looks like a pretty nice area whenever I drive through. I can't remember names of apartments either, but maybe KSU has some sort of message board or something where you can find apartment info? Might be worth a shot, anyway.

Once you hear some names of apartment complexes, remember that there is a site called apartmentratings.com where you can read resident reviews on complexes.

Keep in mind people are more likely to write on a site like that if they're ticked off as opposd to those just making a happy comment, but if your read numerous of the same type of complaints, it'll give you an idea of what places to avoid, etc.

P.S. - try to avoid anyplace that forces you to have to drive on Barrett Parkway (between Hwy 41 and Town Center Mall). This is one of the most congested secondary roads in metro Atlanta. You'll want to find places that have access in and out off of that road.

You can also check out Promove.com

http://www.promove.com/apartments/GA...partments.html

You tell them what you want, what your specifications are, exactly what you're looking for and the price range, and they will find apartments that meet your specifications.
