Man camp creek is all of 10 minutes from Smyrna. What type of map are you using? From S. Cobb it probably doesnt even take that long.

Camp Creek is a nice and developed area IMO.

Shopping centers, new communities (built after 2005), low crime, etc.

Can't go wrong with Camp Creek if you want to save $

I wouldn't live in Camp Creek. There is a reason the homes are priced attractively. Crime ridden and all of the fringe neighborhoods are mostly filled with poverty stricken residents. Maybe I have the wrong perspective, but it will take a lot to change it.

When is the last time youve been to camp creek, 1995? There's nothing crime ridden, fringe neighborhoods and definitely NOTHING poverty stricken about anything developed on camp creek east of 285. Ive seen some ridiculous posts on here but this one takes the cake. I mean, I dont know of many poverty stricken people living in $200,000+ homes or $1,200 a month apartments.

Crime Ridden & Poverty Stricken Resident, We can't be talking about the same area? I just recently (march) purchase a property in the area and it's been great. No complaints

You must be thinking about the Cascade area inside of 285 I believe you are misinformed

I have to chuckle at the 'geography' in this thread... when I saw Camp Creek in the title, and mentioning kids and schools, I thought it was Camp Creek Elementary! And then Camp Creek (around MARTA) came to mind.. two totally different things!

Well actually there was a time within the past two years when a lot of houses were getting broken into. Things seem to have gotten better now but I had my house as well as several in my subdivision broken into last year and the year before.
