Default Wood Replacement Windows

I need to replace 5 windows in my home which was built in 1985. I need wood double pane windows. We will be doing the work ourselves and only need the windows. Does anyone know where we can find these at a reasonable price.

Are you looking for replacement sash systems that will slip into the existing frames, or complete window units? Seeing how your house isn't very old, it may not have current windows that can accept sash replacements, and may require you to remove the entire unit. Depending on how they were installed, this may make quite a mess.

Depending on what you need, Andersen, JeldWen and Pella all make decent windows and are available at Home Depot/Lowes. You can also look at Marvin, which you'll need to order from a local lumberyard. Whether you find the prices of these options to be reasonable or not will depend on your definition of reasonable.
