Default Buying a Doraville Townhome?????

I am considering buying a townhome in Doraville around Tilly Mill Road 30360 (Avery Park) is this a safe area, good place to invest, etc.?????

I am a young single female and safety is a big concern also I want a return on my investment.

Eh, the area is OK. I personally am not a fan of Avery Park because of it's proximity to Peachtree Industrial and I-85 (lots of noise). That said, it is convenient and you have great access to MARTA and to I-285 and I-85. But the area west and northwest of that region is not the greatest - lots of apartments and lower income folks. That doesn't translate to great resale value.

In my opinion, for a return on investment, I am not sure what you will see. I mean, I assume that you are buying it pretty cheap in this economy. I know when I was hunting for places, they were going from $175-200K. If you're getting in down at $160K or something, I could see a little bit of a rise. But I don't expect much.
