Until I looked it up, I thought it was something you'd order in a seafood restaurant. Learn something everyday I guess. Either way, there have been recent threads on salon (ethnic and otherwise) suggestion, so a search in the forum should turn up some results.

I finger-latch my own, so I don't use a loctician. Check out napturality.com. They have a list of service providers all over the country.

Haha, I didnt know what to guess it was, although it sounds very similar to the person that is a funeral director/organizer lol.

If you're in hotlanta youve got to go to Bornu. This guy handles his business. Everything from being well informed about the natural hair, how to cultivate it and what to put in it. He is by appt only. He has an awesome system where you just go to this online calendar and make your own appt. Simple and efficient for us busy professionals. Exclusive, handsome, courteous and doesnt overbook. Always on time! You'll be out in 2 hours max. He shampooed me.. girl. Oh my gosh. Yes he will give you a thrill on the money. Very enlightening conversationalist. I don't think other natural hair stylist can hold a candle to him. www.bornu.com

"Loctician"! That's adorable. I would have spelled it "Locktician", though But I have to admit,
"loctician" looks nicer on paper.
