Woohoo! I was getting tired of seeing that large, gaping, 10 block hole every day.

Nice! Looks like Town Brookhaven will open first, followed by SOB, and then Aerotropolis!

Good news, but I wonder what happened to the other retailers. Did they stay with the plan??

Well, not long ago they were saying that work would "definitely" start up again in July. Now it's pushed back (again) to September.

I have no doubt the project will eventually open, but I have a feeling there are more problems than are being reported, and it will wind up being a smaller scale project than originally touted.

I bet some of the other businesses around there were getting pretty tired of huge, gaping 10 block hole, too.

So, that article is a year old, and it's now well into September. Any sign of construction?

Actually, my previous post was wrong. The article said construction would resume in September 2009 (not 2010)...and that the project was on schedule to open in October of 2010.

So, what's the reality on the ground over there? Is it going to open in a few weeks?
