Default Hosp. Near Fairburn?
Im currently pregnant and moving to Fairburn in August I need to find a obgyn and hosp. to give birth in near me but looking online I cant find anything. Anyone know of places near Fairburn?

piedmont newnan and piedmont fayette and some of the bigger ones in Atlanta. The south fulton hospital doesnt have that good of a reputation

Yes, PLEASE go to Piedmont Fayette Hospital...I wouldn't touch South Fulton Hospital with a ten foot pole. I've had many bad experiences there as well as with family members.

As far as a good GYN, Genesys OBGYN in Tyrone, Ga. (Fayette County, not far from Fairburn) is excellent. Dr. Verna Thornton is wonderful. I live in Fairburn and have been going to her since I moved to Fairburn back in 2005.

Piedmont Fayette is an awsome hospital to go for almost anything. Though they didn't have the birthing center when my son arrivied in 2000, we have used them for many other things and they have been great. I hear the birthing center is really nice from my friends who have delivered there.

Piedmont Fayette is a good choice. Or another one is Southern Regional in Riverdale (good reputation for maternity ward), but I think Piedmont Fayette is a bit closer to Fairburn and is a better hospital in general.
