Hello World,

This is my first post on here and im going to make it a quick one. My question is which W hotel is the best to stay at in town. Me and my wife have stayed at the newest one which is downtown but we were thinking of trying midtown, so I just wanted an opinon on them.

Isn't it nice that we have 3 brand new W Hotels to choose from ? Not too many cities have that claim to fame.

I think the one Midtown is in the best location because it's centrally located in Atlanta and has the best of both worlds. They are all nice hotels directly near Marta Stations. I think it also depends on what you want to do during the weekend.

Buckhead - Shopping

Midtown - Piedmont Park and best Organic Restaurant & Nightlife scene. Very nice signature restaurant (Spice Market) and lounge (Whiskey Park) inside of the hotel as well.

Downtown - If you want to visit more of the tourist attractions and sporting events in the city like Centennial Olympic Park, GA Aquarium, CNN Center or a Hawks, Falcons game or Turner Field.

Enjoy Atlanta!

I think AF has summed it up very well. Buckhead for shopping, Midtown for theatre, museum and strolling. Both are great for restaurants.

I would go with the Midtown one. Not sure about the Buckhead one, but I know they have a bar on top that offers a good view of the city.

I agree with everyone else. I had an incredible dinner at Spice Market, Spice Market Atlanta, Jean-Georges Vongerichten, For reservations call (404) 549-5450. Splurge for the prix fix. The Ginger Margarita was incredible too.

The best deal in town right now, in my opinion is at http://4thandswift.com/. Check out their dinner special called "Dining At Dusk". Chef owner Jay Swift is a hidden gem. Shhhh...don't let the cat out of the bag

Thanks for the feedback, I think were going to try the Midtown location this time. Is anyone on here a realtor or know a good one because we plan on coming their to look at homes in the areas of Decatur and Lithonia because we are thinking of moving their sometime next year?

I've only had the chance to check out the W in Midtown so I really can't comment on the others, but the bartenders at Whisky park weren't stingy at all with mixing the drinks (no water), and the view from the outside patio was one the best I have ever seen anywhere. Highly recommend that one.

Isn't there also a W Hotel at Perimeter? Would that make 4 "W's" for Atlanta?
