Default any german-speaking people that live in atlanta?

hello there,
i am from austria and i live in atlanta for a year now.
i was just wondering, are there any other german-speaking people that live in this area?
even though i just lived there for a year- i got really bad in german, so it would be nice having someone to speak german to.
i am 20 years old and live on dekalb avenue.

thank you

have you been to Barnesley Gardens Resort in Adairsville? It was built by a Bavarian prince from Habsburg lineage and boasts an authentic bavarian style biergarten.. it's also just a really cool place. For a kitschy faux german experience, check out Helen in northeast georgia mountains. I have also been told there is a very authentic German biergarten and restaurant in between Alpharetta and Cumming. I have been meaning to check it out when I am up in that area next.

Here is the restaurant you may be referring to.
Very good food, German owners and staff.

Enjoy.

Goethe Institute is a good spot as well as some of the German clubs at the universities around here. I'm sure they would love to have a native speaker jpoin them... and wilkommen.
