Default NYC program offers homeless families a free one-way ticket to Atlanta...
NYC homeless shelter residents since 2007 have been offered a free one-way ticket out of town, as long as they have someone to take them in on the other end... Georgia is one of the destinations most often selected by program participants. The article just says Georgia, but my guess is most folks end up tranplanted to the Atlanta Metro Area.

Perhaps Atlanta's shelters shoould offer a similiar program?
