You know, in retrospect maybe you should go down market a bit, that way you do not raise her expectations or make her consider a more serious move in the relationship, just saying.

Toni's Casa Napoli at 2486 Mount Vernon Road in Dunwoody. Great place that we make a point of visiting every time we come back to Atlanta. It is a very unpretentious (from the outside) restaurant located in an old strip shopping center. The menu is fantastic but if you want something special just describe it to your waiter and they will make it happen. Dine after 8:00 and it is usually all adults with candles lighting the tables.

I'm going to have to disagree with the sundial. While yes, it gives a nice setting, the food is not that good. I would assume for what you are trying to pay, you would want good food as well, right?

Ray's on the River is not in the heart of the city, but the food is great, it has a water view, its pretty upscale without being too pricey, and its pretty romantic. It's about 15 minutes outside of Atlanta.
