Looking for family-friendly town in Alpharetta area
We need help! We are possibly being relocated to Georgia in the very near future and are looking to live in the Alpharetta area. We are looking to spend around $500,000 and need a good public school system, as we have 3 young children. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Essentially Milton is Alpharetta, it is just a little further off the beaten path. Depends on if you prefer to be "in town" close to shopping or prefer to be further out with the horse farming community. Either is very nice, all of the schools in this area good. The 500,000 range should not be hard to find.

Woodstock and Holly Springs would also work for you. Do you know where you'll be working? That's going to play a huge role in where you'll want to live, unless you're OK with a long commute.

The job itself is on Old Milton Parkway in Alpharetta. We really dont want much of a commute because of the children. Thank you so much for all of your help!

Either Milton or Alpharetta would give you an easy commute and great schools. I live in Milton, and love it here, but to be honest, Alpharetta has much more in terms of sports and activities for kids. You can sign up for the programs, but out of town rates are considerably higher.

I work off of Old Milton as well, it is about a 30 minute commute due to traffic during the school year. I live just outside of Milton over the Cherokke County line. Hope that helps some
