Default Authentic Mexican Restaurant in town?

We recently moved to Atlanta- can anyone recommend an authentic Mexican restaurant downtown/midtown/va-hi area?

^I'll second George's vote for Zocalo. I met the lovely owner once at a catered function, and this place is the real deal. Very cool open-air set up in nice weather, authentic mole recipes and a great tequila selection are enough to keep me coming back.

A new place by the owners of The Vortex called The Boneyard Cantina has recently opened on the Westside, but I haven't tried them yet. Has anyone checked them out?

Although it isn't Downtown, I have to add that Mexico City Gourmet in Decatur is a long-time fave.

Who would name a restaurant "no more"?

Most of the one's mentioned above I would not consider Authentic Mexican, more like Tex-Mex of fusion Mex. Best bet is what George Chong recommended, Nuevo Laredo. Zocalo's is decent, good location.

Somehow I don't see Willy's making the list for "authentic Mexican food".....lol

I have to also recommend Nuevo Laredo. Call it Tex-Mex or whatever. All I know is, you can't get that flavor anywhere else. No watered down salsa either...it's chunky and delicious!
