Big difference... hell there are only what, 2 major high schools in Valdosta? Parkview had players on their team from as far away as Newnan!!!!!! And I knew it for a fact because I went to school with one of the kids in middle school. It's one thing to "recruit" and another to have kids from damn near 60 miles away playing on your squad. Gwinnett schools buy their championships thats why I never really give them much respect. Just like a couple years ago when North Gwinnett's boosters flexed their pockets to rob Newnan of their home playoff game by insisting that their stadium was too small and had the game moved to a "neutral" site... which just so happened to be in Atlanta.

I graduated from South Gwinnett in 2000. We went 10-0 that year (If I remember correctly). Man I miss playing football. I wish the county would start an adult rec league.

Sorry - can't give Buford any props because of the division they play in.

you're not giving them a fair shake.

schools are placed in their respective classifications based on size. Buford can't control that.

They beat a AAAA school 51-0 and a AAA school 35-7 already this year.

last year they went to texas and beat a team that was highly regarded in that state coming into the preseason.

they dominated in the herbstreit classic in ohio.

buford isn't scared of anyone. they managed to get another AAAAA gwinnet school to scrimmage them last year or the year before and beat them as well.

buford is a AA school but has national recognition. i would put money on them being the best team in gwinnett county. they are the real deal and are churning out D1 recruits. view this link
