Talking Gwinnett County Football is the Best

After hearing about North Gwinnett's victory over Prattville, a nationally ranked team, I had to start this thread. First, Grayson beats Camden in the GA Dome. Grayson is ranked 5 in the nation by Rivals. Peachtree Ridge is ranked 8 in the nation by Rivals. And now N. Gwinnett - which wasn't ranked previously - but will be. WELCOME TO GWINNETT COUNTY FOOTBALL!!!!

South Gwinnett maybe the sleeper. They KILLED Norcross.

BTW - Mill Creek was never any good, so Dacula beating them doesn't say anything. Mill Creek was getting some hype last year because it's the largest school in GA and in Hamilton Mill. Other than that they suck.

Yes, keep in mind Mill Creek is new all around. Dacula had an awful season last year, even lost to Mill, so hopefully this will be a good beginning to a good year.
The upset of Norcross was a surprise to me also.
That is one good thing about school sports. They only have players for a couple years then it all changes again. Never dull.

I was not prepared for the high school football frenzy when we moved here. It appears to take on way too much importance every fall, overshadowing academics. Having said that, I must admit, now that my football playing son has graduated and left for college, I DO miss those Friday night games.
