Hi- I signed a year lease at a nice place and stupidly noticed (but did nothing) about the fact there was no information regarding policies for breaking the lease if necessary.

If my actually lease contract does not say anything specific, what is the worst scenerio for breaking my lease?

Thanks.

We've seen a number of these types of posts on here lately, and honestly, folks can't (or shouldn't) really offer advice on it because due to the fact that a lease is considered a legal agreement, people shouldn't be offering legal advice here. So while I wish you luck, I'll have to close this down. Note - you should go directly to the leasing agent(s) and simply ask them what the penalties are for breaking a lease, and if you don't like an answer, seek real legal advice from a lawyer who will be able to tell you your options if there is nothing spelled out in the lease agreement. Good luck.
