My husband, our 15 year old son and I are moving to Atlanta in a couple of months. Our son will be attending Grady. I'd like to know what the kids do after school and on the weekends. My son's extracurricular activities now consists of basketball (year round AAU and school team), sleepovers, teenage parties, internet and texting. Can I expect the same things when we move?

I'm assuming that the kids live near each other and hang out together. Is this true? Does the City of Atlanta have rec centers/community centers that sponsor activities for teenagers? Or, do the kids keep to themselves on a computer?

Basically, what kind of social life can my son expect? I appreciate any insight that you can give me. Thanks.

You might want to sign up for the GradyGram -- the school's e-mail newsletter, which provides a complete calendar of weekly activities and other news about the school:
