I was at lenox today and saw that they are planning to open in the Nieman Marcus wing. Also Louis Vitton is remodeling.

Um, well, Lenox is a mall. Retail is its purpose. Been that way since the '50s...

I really made that statement to show that it's good to see the mall expanding it's retail options. Compared to some cities is behind. The last time I was in Atlanta there wasn't all those new stores like diesal puma zara etc..

Right now there are probably good deals for stores to open or renovate coming from mall management, hence the openings. Oh, and there is an Italian steakhouse opening in Phipps soon.

Oh ok midtown would be a perfect location for street shopping I mean perfect.. Hopefully the CB2 will brig other stores

More stores, more activity, hopefully some more jobs will move into midtown as well.

Thats the whole concept of the midtown mile. They are actively trying to encourage shopping and not more restaurants. Midtown Mile Atlanta . The Plan for the Mile (http://www.midtownmile.com/location3.htm - broken link)

The retail space has been built in the last 2 years, now its just a matter of filling it and letting things fall into place. You have plenty of residents in the area.
