Okay, so there is a job fair @ my school 2morrow.... I, along with others have looked over & edited my resume, and I feel pretty good about it. But I need help with the cover letter. I know that the heading is supposed to have the school dist, name, address, and to whom the resume is going. Now the confusing part is, that I have seen some samples (online) that have the superintendent’s name, and others just have the HR dept. I assume that many superintendents don't directly look at the resumes, and am confused at whether I should I address my letter to the HR dept, or the superintendent directly. Sorry if the question seems obvious, or redundant, but I'm kinda a perfectionist, n our career center is already closed on campus 4 today

ANY help would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks~ leggs

Okay in my opinion I would address it to the superintendent. It will end up in HR regardless and in the off chance the superintendent sees it first you may have created an opprtunity to stand out.
