I live in Alpharetta and I am billed directly through my apartment complex for water, sewage, and trash. I am concerned that I am being overcharged for water. Is there anywhere to find the rates that I am supposed to be charged? Of course every month the per gallon rate changes but there is always a drastic difference. Mostly as it applies to the sewage charge.

Also, this month I didn't pay my water because I don't agree and no one can explain it to me. The office is trying to tell me that because my rent and water are billed together if I don't pay the water in full my rent will be considered late and any late fees for rent will apply. Is this possible or legal?

Thanks in advance

Can't really do much and yes you are overcharged. The actual rates mean nothing. Your landlord can impose any additional fees as they see fit. Welcome to apartment living
