Default Traditional Pick up/Drop off Daycares

Whatever happened to the traditional daycares that pick up and drop off kids from their homes? Or is this something that Georgia doesn't do. I know I am no longer in Texas but back home they have the pick up and drop off service. I miss that. Or am I in the wrong area.. someone if you know please respond.

Thanks!

Do you mean where someone from the daycare comes to your home and picks up your child and then drops him/her off at the end of the day? I've never heard of that before. Most daycare requires the parent to bring the child and pick up the child at the end of the day. In fact, some daycare will charge you fees if you don't pick up on time.

We had those back in Alabama, but I don't remember the particulars. My son was never in daycare, so I never looked into them too closely. I do remember staff from time to time forgetting a child in the van and CPS would have to investigate, but I never caught one of those cases.
