Can anyone give me a better idea of what its like to live in Suwanee, Ga? I've been considering relocating there with my 5 yr old son, i need a change... What is it like to live there? What activities do they have for the kids? What are the schools like? What is nite life like?

It's a nice family oriented town with good schools and no night life to speak of. Where will you be working?

my sister moved there and she is really picky about living in a safe and nice area. I doubt there is much nightlife besides an applebees or local pub.

I found this past summer to be quite nice, not humid. There were some humid days, but very few. While we do get some cold days, there's rarely, if ever, any snow.
If you do some searches, you'll find out that it's difficult (though not impossible)to find work here. Good luck!

About finding work, I'm a student at Georgia State University. My only gig ever was working for 3 days at Wendy's summer 2008. I filed apps during the summer 2009 for Wal-Mart, Kroger, Publix, and a ton of online places. At the end of the summer, I got a call from Publix but found a gig from GSU. Also, in between, by way of a friend, I dropped of my resume at Kumon Learning Center, and a couple of weeks later, out of no where, got a call from them and I work there also.

Also got an interview (walkin from Craigslist) for a new restaurant. I'm pretty sure you can find something in Gwinnett/Atlanta if not Suwanee.
