We are relocating for my husbands work. i am trying to find an upscale nice cleanarea with really great schools. the schools are top priority. We like to be around and close to all shopping and dining as well.

my main question is which schools are the best what is the difference between mcintosh and starrs mill in peachtree???
how does lassiter compare to mcintosh and starrs mills

any info would be GREATLY Appreciated !!!!

These areas are pretty far apart. Where is your husband's job?

I'd have to assume that your husband works from home? Have you visited both areas? They are so very different that the visit alone would probably help you decide. Ptree City is on it's own while East Cobb has been consumed by Atlanta sprawl.

I think the schools are very similar but the culture and vibe is quite different. No students that go to Lassiter drive a golf cart to get there. Both schools are very good. I believe it will come down to other factors about the area.

People tend to chose areas as close to work as possible so it really depends. I can't speak for Peachtree City but East Cobbs schools are well known for being among the best or the best for the Atlanta (if you are looking at test scores). Alpharetta is also well known for excellent schools. We live in East Cobb and the schools here are fantastic.
