My hubby's birthday is coming up soon and I want to take him out to eat at a nice, but affordable restaurant somewhere. He wants to go to an Indian restaurant.

Any suggestions?

What is your budget. Nice and affordable mean different things to different people.

I've found Panahar Bangladeshi Cuisine - Atlanta's first and only Bangladeshi Restaurant to be pretty good and its BYOB at no charge. Someone who is from India will correct you and say its Bangladeshi food which it is but most of us can't tell the difference. Its also in a non-descript strip mall but the service and food is quite good.

I would recommend Sri Krishna Vilas in Alpharetta off of Windward PKWY. My co-worker is from India and he recommended this place. I have been there over 6 times in the last 4 months and I can tell you that the food there is unparalleled. The food is great and the prices are inexpensive.

In addition, my co-worker use to live in Athens and would drive to this restaurant every weekend just to have the food at Sri Krishna Vilas.
