Hamilton Mill/Dacula and Cable TV
What are my choices? We will be moving to Hamilton Mill or somewhere in Dacula in December. Is AT&T Uverse available? Verizon Fios? I currently have Dish Network and have been happy with it in Alabama but want something more stable. I really hate Charter. ANy suggestions for Internet and home phone service? Thanks.

You have almost every option around here. And yes, continue hating charter because they are complete GARBAGE in this area.
I have Comcast and love it. Direct TV is great too. Stay clear of Dish Network here. The product is terrible, and the "techs" they send to your house look like a bunch of guys they scooped up at your local homeless shelter. I originally signed up for Dish network at first, and their tech had the nerve to show up and ask me if he could use my bathroom because he had a stomach bug/diarrhea! I immediately called Dish, cancelled and got Comcast.

We have been happiest with comcast vs the other internet providers in the area. Try birch communications for regular phones (cheaper than att) unless you want a voip phone then comcast can hook you up. If you need security try bulldog home security. You also get to choose your trash provider and robertson sanitation is who we found to be the best.

Not sure. We're right around the corner from Hamilton Mill and we can get it. Have you checked out the At&T website to see if it's available?

Hey I will be living right off Hamilton Mill Parkway about 2.0 miles from I-85. Comcast said that they do not service my address and ATT Uverse is still not available there either. I went ahead and went with Dish Network and ATT local phone and DSL Internet. As soon as Uverse is available I am going to switch.

Now that is funny. I am the opposite. I ended up taking Direct TV to the BBB because they are the most God awful group I have ever dealt with. Basically, the way you describe Dish. I have had Dish now for 4 years with no issue and good service. Granted, I have NOT needed a tech either in 3 1/2 years.
If something goes wrong though I will be going full Comcast since it is here now. Had Comcast in Jersey and Illinois and loved it. When I moved to this area the only cable was Charter and I heard way to many horror stories. Went to Direct TV and learned a lifes lesson, then Dish.
Phone was BellSouth now ATT.
