Default Virginia Highlands vs. Buckhead

I've got one more night to spend in ATL and considering checking out one of these 2 areas since I hear both encompass a lot of bars and clubs in close proximity with each other. I am wondering how the scene differs in these two areas in terms of cover prices, type of crowd, age, music, rowdiness, etc... Just enough info to help me decide what I want to check out.

The Highlands will be your best best. The vibe is always great, it's waay more walkable than Buckhead, and there are tons of bars and restaurants to choose from.

They are less than 5 miles apart. Buckhead has changed allot in the last 10 years and many of the bars were closed to develop upscale shopping by the land owners. South end of north highland has more bars than north end of North highland (Va Highlands is not overly rowdy). Think 20-30 something grad crowd. Va highlands is a smaller area than B'head.
