Default Parks & Recreation info

We are moving to Stone Mountain and I'm tyring to find out if any Park & Rec centers have classes, in-door pools, organized adult sports or activities? I have a toddler, so any "Mommy & Me" activities would be great too.

DeKalb Parks and Rec department runs tons of programs at various facilities around the county: DeKalb County, Georgia, USA

We used to take advantage of a lot of the programs at the Tucker Rec Center when we lived near there, and they were generally very well done and quite reasonable. There are several other rec centers in the DeKalb County system:
DeKalb County, Georgia, USA

There was a series of problems earlier this year with the DeKalb Parks and Rec system failing to follow through on entering its teams in state basketball and swimming competitions -- the kids paid their money and were primed to go, only to find that DeKalb just didn't send in the entries. This led to the firing of the Parks and Rec director and other disciplinary actions.

I can't seem to find any online listing of programs for DeKalb, but you can probably pick up a brochure at any of the rec centers listed.

There's also a very active and popular youth soccer program in Tucker, the Tucker Youth Soccer Association (TYSA)
