insider's perspective?
So, I'm an early childhood spec.ed.teacher married with 2 kids looking to move out the city (nyc). I'm looking for a family-oriented suburb with a fairly ethnically diverse, professional demographic. I've done my own research and am honing in on Duluth (fulton & gwinnett). However, I'm in need of an insider's perspective. Whe are are a multi-ethnic family and concerned about being "welcomed" in a community. One of our kids will be starting elementary school, the other 8th grade. Although a school's academic reputation is important, we want our children to have a good social experience - we want a balanced school population - racially, ethnically, economically, and academically. I know this may sound overly idealistic; however, I'm thinking
Ga can put us closer to our ideal as NY could ever.
