that being said, sprawl isnt going to disappear, but I do think you will see more people move intown...some will find they would rather spend time with family than time sitting on the expressway, or get tired of throwing away gas money etc. Some of the old middle class neighborhoods may decline...similar to Stone Mt. while intown areas could start to thrive...
Agree on all points...I think that in addition to the intown migration, Atlanta will in future see suburban 'densification' as suburbs such as Dunwoody, Sandy Springs, Marietta, Roswell, Alpharetta and Woodstock continue to develop their own city centers.
