Keep an eye out for the COP!! Remember there are no signs to warn you.

The problem is that Due West Rd has a speed limit of 45 MPH and there are NO signs saying you are entering a school zone or that the limit drops from 45 to 25 MPH. All the signs and the flashing cross walk light face the opposite way toward traffic coming the other direction. The only indicator you get is just a plain old school crosswalk sign.
I see him out there all the time writing people up- I guess assuming most of them will just pay his bogus tickets. My guess is that if people went to court, they would win. There has to be a sign telling you that there is a school zone ahead and the speed limit is 25 MPH (some of them are 35 MPH) I think.
I agree with you that it is quite the speed trap and there should be better signs coming from that one direction. (signs are better coming from the other direction) but today a teenage girl got hit in the crosswalk by a car turning left out of Kennesaw Mtn High school. Couldn't have been going more then 15-20 mph. the girl just layed there. didn't move. People standing over her crying. I pray she is ok.
