Looking for a Nice Place Between Stockbridge and Griffin...Any Suggestions
My boyfriend and I are relocating to Metro Atlanta this summer. He is going to live in Stockbridge near his employer. I might work in Griffin. Can anyone recommend a place for me to live that is a reasonable distance from work AND my boyfriend, please? I am looking for a diverse area with a low crime rate and nice apartments.

'Search' >> Henry County
There have been a number of recent discussions on this area--West Georgia--Douglasville, Villa Rica, McDonough, Stockbridge and surrounding environs. (Henry County, Douglas County and others)
Click on 'Search' at the top of the page and enter relevant Keywords--ie>>Stockbridge>> and the related threads will be retrieved.
Tour the area and see for yourself. There is a lot of growth and increased traffic in this area so it is important to select a location that has a reasonable commute.

Douglas or Carroll counties are a long way from either Griffin or Stockbridge. You would be looking at well over an hour commute for either one. Personally, I would suggest McDonough. It isn't really halfway in between but it's going to offer what you are looking for.

actually Mcdonough is exactly in between stockbridge and Griffin. Griffin is just passed Locust Grove.Stockbridge being to the north and Griffin being to the southwest...
Mcdonough has alot of new apartments that look nice, don't know anything else about it.. The Eagles Landing area is very nice and there are some apartments near that. Locust Grove area is also growing fast near Tanger Outlet.

I didn't say it isn't in between. I said it isn't half way in between. It's closer to Stockbridge then Griffin.
