Default millage rates

Is there a site to find out what the % is that you pay for property taxes (on your home) in specific cities in Gwinnett COunty?
For ex., in South Florida where I live, the property tax rate is/was 2%. Therefore, if I buy a home that's 300k, my prop taxes will be 6k.

Don't forget that the taxes are based on assessed value- not sales price. For example, the assessed value for new homes here in Cherokee County is +/- 1/3 the sales price, so for a $300k house, the taxes would be $100k x the millage rates.

Also, Gwinnett County has very low taxes. We did however, just have an increase in our millage rate, but it was the first one in I believe 10 years. Something you might want to know!
