rcsteiner is absolutely correct!

The data that was provided to you by jhtrico1850 was for just the city limits. The zip codes and mailing addresses for both Suwanee and Buford is pretty vast.

Personally, I would recommend Suwanee over Buford. I don't know if I would say one is really better than the other though. I like the vibe of Suwanee better, also, it's a bit more centrally located. There are a lot more empty neighborhoods when you get out towards Buford as well. Also, traffic can become a real issue in several parts around Buford, especially the mall.

Default Suwanee or Buford

Also keep in mind that Buford is not just 30519, but 30518 also. I wouldn't worry over the numbers too much; I have a graduate degree and have never felt any significance in those numbers. I think neighborhood will even those numbers out--meaning that what neighborhood you choose will mean more than broad numbers.

I say Buford--they have MUCH better taxes. They are also in the middle of building a "town square" similare to Suwanees, but without all the debt. I do think, having extensively searched for a new home in this area, that you should focus on neighborhood rather than city--they're so close it doesn't really matter.
